Company Director

A Business Director named our agency to locate out if we could support him. He told us that goods had gone missing from his warehouse but it had not been broken into. The Lorries had not been tampered with along with the stock had all gone by means of the goods in department. This was happening every single two weeks or so He suspected that a number of the warehouse workers as well as the lorry drivers might be stealing goods and splitting the profits.

We put undercover operatives into the warehouse who posed as warehouse workers. The operatives were employed for two weeks in the warehouse and they wore body cams all of the time. Our operatives got friendly with the other warehouse workers. During one of the night shifts a lorry came in and also the warehouse manager and 1 of our operatives got to function unloading it. A lot of the goods for the warehouse had been unloaded then the warehouse manager got into the lorry using the driver and they drove off. He came back about half an hour later.

The Manager took our operative to 1 side and told him not to tell anyone what had happened. The operative said that as he was only there for a couple of weeks it didn’t matter to him what was going on. The Manager provided him either some money or some of the goods to keep his mouth shut. The operative had all this on film and video.

The lorry driver was the main man in this scam. He would have many warehouses on his route with warehouse men that would aid him steal from their warehouses. As soon as the lorry driver had the goods he would sell them to the other warehouse men who had been also stealing for him.

Our client called the police and also the lorry driver and warehouse manager had been taken to the Police station for questioning. They had been each arrested and are on bail waiting to go to court.
